Board Chair

Dr. Clark S. Binkley

A globally recognized authority in forestry and investment as well as asset management and higher education leadership and research. His experience spans roles including CIO at GreenWood Resources (~$2B AUM), International Forestry Investment Advisors, and Hancock Timber Resource Group. He has served on boards of West Fraser Timber, TimberWest, Pacific Forest Products, and CellFor. Dr. Binkley is the former Dean of Forestry at the University of British Columbia and the Frederick K. Weyerhaeuser Professor at Yale University.

Co-Founder

Noel Johnson

A real estate developer, researcher, and educator with $1B+ of experience across 20+ private and civic developments, including many early large-scale market rate mass timber projects. His research focuses on mass timber's demand-side factors: capital, consumers, markets & industry structure. A frequentspeaker at Mass Timber Conferences, he teaches behavioral finance at Lewis & Clark College and holds degrees from Stanford GSB, Portland State University, and Williams College.
